Chandrayaan-1 was primarily focused on orbiting the Moon

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, there had been discussions and plans regarding Chandrayaan-3, but it had not been officially announced or launched yet. Chandrayaan-3 was expected to be the third mission in India's Chandrayaan program, which aimed to explore the Moon. The previous missions were Chandrayaan-1, which was launched in 2008, and Chandrayaan-2, which was launched in 2019.

Chandrayaan-1 was primarily focused on orbiting the Moon and conducting remote sensing experiments, while Chandrayaan-2 included an orbiter, lander (Vikram), and rover (Pragyan). Unfortunately, the Vikram lander lost communication during its descent to the lunar surface, and the rover was unable to deploy as planned.

Chandrayaan-3 was expected to be a follow-up mission with the primary goal of successfully landing a rover on the Moon's surface. However, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) had not provided specific details or a timeline for Chandrayaan-3 at that time.

To get the latest information on Chandrayaan-3 or any updates on India's lunar exploration missions, I recommend checking the official website of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) or consulting recent news sources. There may have been developments or announcements regarding Chandrayaan-3 since my last update.
